I doubt he'd be offered a good contract in the nrl, so a years deal and a chance to prove himself and re establish his name could be best for all parties.

If you look at the signings from the nrl in the backs Finch is the standout player, the rest are of the same level.

I wouldn't be bothered about missing out on him but it would prove that it will be difficult for us to attract the best young British players to the club

As long as it's on a one year deal i think kost people will be happy with that, gives us halfback and hooking cover.
