If he had caught the ball he'd have been lucky to get away with the mistakes he made. This is exactly the problem with Turner, he's good for a few games bad for a few.

Whiting gets it right most times, hence a clever player.'"
I see your point, but I wouldn't say he's a dumb player. It would have been a game changing move, which if it had came off would have won us the game and we would all be crying again about him leaving.
FWIW, I thought he had a pretty poor game today. Crooks, on the other hand, is looking good.

Cost us 3 points in two weeks, defensive deficiencies evident while Agar was in charge are creeping back into his game.
He was nowhere near the team at the start of the year, got a chance through injuries and took it, but he's been poor of late.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

I would, he doesn't seem to learn and makes the same mistakes over and over.

He has been average for the last 2 weeks, but so have most of the team, he never looked dumb today in fact if any player looked dumb it was Horney who appeared like a rabbit in the headlights every time he got the ball. Overall defensively the whole team don't look no where near as sharp as they did.

Said this to the brother in law. Without him or O'Meley we lack aggression in defence. Soliola was very good for them and all teams need that type of player.

I never called him dumb, although as Sheldon says he doesn't seem to learn from mistakes. I think he's been poor the last two games, average the couple before that and hasn't been excellent since the derby.

Barring a few senior players that could be said of a lot of our players tbh, players make mistakes all the time, same ones week in and week out, if we had a team full of players who learnt their trade to near perfection we would be called Wigan this season.

He promised us an answer by the end of June, and I really hope we even get just 1 more year from him, as he will be very hard to replace.

| Thought O'Carroll showed a bit more going forward today, some decent runs on their line.

Regrettably Horney is too slow to complete the plays that he sees. You're right he made bad decisions - because he didn't have the speed to do what he wanted to do - on probably 4 maybe 5 occasions which resulted in us wasting the pressure that had been built.

| Quote: GJJ 79 "Turner going for the big play again at the end, giving Sts another set (4th tackle, I think) which allowed them to get in the position for the attacking kick, from which they scored the match equalling penalty.
Two weeks in a row (can't comment on London game cos I wasn't there), where his high risk play has not come off and cost us points.
Think people are being unfair on Manu tho. Well policed by Sts, tried hard, just never came of for him.'"
I think are being a little economical with what actually happened yesterday.
Are you seriously having a go at Turner for trying to intercept the ball? An interception which was practically put on a plate for him by a poor pass? An interception which he got to but couldn't quite take, meaning the clock was eaten down?
Turner did make yards even when faced with several defenders in his face.
Manu, now that's a different matter. It was his least effective game for the best part of two seasons. On four occasions yesterday he had either an overlap or a massive gap to play his centre into yet he decides to step into tackler, which as you put, were policing him well. Why step into the tacklers all the time when he was being wrapped up effectively?
