Viking FM has never been that kind of station. It is a commercial music station that doesn't cover any sport. Unfortunately so is Lincs FM so it was no surprise that they would eventually push the sports coverage out.

As per usual he was his cocky arrogant self when taking the bet, then when he lost the bet he went missing (probably the same place as Mason & the away kit

I stand corrected, the only stuff I remember on Viking in the 80's is the Top 40 on a Sunday afternoon and the Late Night Love Affair with Diana Luke on weekday nights!!

Yes, it was Lisa I recognised initially, as I got my irregulars rugby shirt from her when we played Harlequins down in Leicester. I only remember Viking FM doing score updates for the rugby , don't remember much commentary from them.
