The thing is threads will go that way anyway and also the FACTS are anyone commenting is going largely by hearsay. Poeple might have seen the players out now and again but not all the time so nobody can comment with any actual proof or certainty regarding what goes on.

I've never seen or heard of any proof, just people claiming they know what goes on, which is often only partially correct.

I fear you are right. I had hoped, however, that some of those FACTs might be put to bed and some of the facts would be a revelation.

Another hope was that people could be diverted to that thread every time we saw a and comment like - "he doesn't drink much, he spills most of it, like he does the ball" anytime we're on a subject that isn't about how crap Agar is. Oh hang on, they're all about drinking and how crap Agar is: as you were.

Sadly not proof against a charge of libel either, unless you have multiple credible witnesses willing to testify in court.

The libel laws in this country are ridiculously draconian, and you CAN in fact be sued for telling the truth if you can't prove it. There's a reason why so many overseas celebrities choose the English courts for their libel actions.

So you can definately state that during this season a drinking culture exsists due to you witnessing players going out drinking several nights of the week?

I find that hard to believe as like me you don't even live in Hull.

Don't get me wrong I have seen players out drinking on a night out over a weekend and not just players from Hull either but that does not mean there is a drinking culture. They are allowed to go out over a weekend once they have played a game.

I've seen players from both sides of the river out drinking mid-week. It happens at all clubs because it is tolerated.

Is this the contract thats not up until the end of next season? He doesnt need a contract for next season, so why is he 'performing' at the moment?

Personally I think Kingy has been poor this season(exculding the Leeds and Celtic games), but when your coming back from a half a season injury and are only getting 10-15 mins game time, its hard to get back into the swing of things. Its no suprise when he gets some game time, he has a better game. Before he was injured last season he was regarded as one of our best props, but of course those 'performances' were due to him needing a new contract and not cos he has pride in the shirt.
