If we sign him I'd like to see him move over. Prefer that with younger players it helps their development and we can keep a closer eye out. The older guys are a different kettle of fish although it's obviously better to have them in Hull if possible. Ellis certainly seems to be well thought of at Leigh. If he wants to play pro SL he should get across to Hull and put all his efforts into achieving it.

Given the new, vastly increased salary cap in AUS, I think you're really going to struggle to get any players (esp decent halfs) of any worth over now.

Williams is still only young, only 18.

Have to agree with Jake, he must be 100% commited to moving to Hull or why bother, as soon as a team closer to home comes in for him he would move back there.

Also although he gets a good report on the Leigh board, I'm not sure he is what we need, we have few young halfbacks coming through, we need a 7 will a bit more experience at the top level.

Good the club are looking at teh lower leagues for players though.

nah,apparently he's presently in Bali as I understand it,lucky g*t !

I feel he's wasted in the LER as he was in the Championship - he never seems to get injured and you know exactly what you'll get from him every game,he's a good trainer and really tries to motivate his teammates when heads begin to drop.
