And just because you haven't heard of Grant Rovelli doesn't mean others haven't.

So because we would rather Robinson and Chase come to the club, and we would rather put in an offer for them then say Westy or Rovelli, it immediately means that they will/want to come? What if they LIKE it at their current clubs?

Are people seriously thinking that Chase would come here? Don't get me wrong, I would love him at the club, but he is involved in everything at Cas and it would take something pretty special to move him away IMO.

Or that he's good enough. Anyone heard of Dobson before? Now made his second appearance in the SL dream team.

Robinson has always harboured a soft spot for Hull, and expressed an interest some years ago IIRC.

If we employed your philosophy, we'd never approach anyone. Take Diskin, for example. If we have spoken to him, it's obviously come as a bolt from the blue, but now has to consider coming to Hull [ibecause[/i we've gone for him.

How do you know we haven't approached Robinson?

I'm not saying we shouldn't approach them, of corse we should, I'm saying that just because we would prefer a player and splash some cash doesn't mean they will come! How do we know we haven't made an offer and it has got turned down? The club are very unlikely to publish a player turning us down, so they then approach another player, and so on.

Maybe we have, but if he's linked to Bradford than the deal wasn't good enough. If we're prepared to spend £175k on Westerman then there's money to spare. Forget Raviolli and Diskin and go all out for Robinson.

I would say roveli on a 1 year deal which seems pretty good business as he can cover hooker aswel
