I think the grading has got some clubs moving with their infastructure, such as electronic sponsor hoardings which arent that expensive but a lot of clubs just havent bothered. Oldham are now back renting the good standard football ground rather than playing a park standard ground. I dont follow other clubs social media but from the 'suggested' posts I now get they all seem more active.

But you could have acheived that by dangling a carrot of additional
central funds for teams who improve their scores rather than using scores to decide who's in SL or not.

The biggest mess is London, who should be the poster boys of expansion and finally have a stable tenancy at a good ground but as we know they could do an invincibles season and win everything and go down.

We have got to give it time though, they didnt give the last licencing period 5mins before the league structure was changed again. General sports fans find the constant structure changes hard to follow, I gave up on trying to explain the Super8s to people for example.

I meant the fact that every NRL game is on TV, doesn't seem to make too much impact on crowds.

There is a difference that Australia is massive, some fans out in the countryside arent driivng for hours to get to a game anyway. But I agree that televising games doesnt hit the crowd that much, you either want to go for the atmosphere or you dont.

Not sure we are in a position to criticise half backs at other clubs when we don't have any of our own.

Frawley is steady and sometimes as a 7 that's all you need to be especially when you have quality like Croft next to him, all he needs to do is keep the team moving around so Croft can work his magic, a bit like when we had Sneyd and Kelly.

Just seen the highlights from the Leeds and Salford game, all of the sin bins in that game especially the last one were an absolute joke and will drive even more fans away from the game.

Will watch the Catalans v Warrington game at teatime.
Would be then nice to watch Cas v Wigan on BBC Iplayer after it.
No doubt they'll be flashing the scores up from the alternative game to take all the fun out of it though.
