Its winnable but we need to complete sets at a high level and cut out the penalties and stupid errors
Problem is how do you cope with Barba? Jamie Shaul should be watching all the videos he can of Ben Barba.
Would also like to see Sneyd kicking more into the opposition in goal and try to turn teams around more, especially the teams with big forwards like Saints

Leg injury apparently.
I really think he needs to out on Loan or at least a run of games with Doncaster.
He is short on confidence.God knows what was he thinking kicking on the fourth tackle, and then drops his first carry coming out of defence to put us under pressure

Hope so as thats the edge Barba attacks.
Just wonder if Radford will give Jack Logan a run on the wing with Connor on the bench or Move Griffin to the wing and play Connor from the off at Centre.
Still cant forgive Watts for being an idiot.Irrespective of the wins we really miss him

And the current top try-scorer in Super League to boot, weighing in with another double.
Another 2 points, exhausting as it is.

Of course we miss Watts, just because we've won (just) and beating a pathetic Catalans plus a garbage dullkr doesn't mean we wouldn't be better with him. Maybe you think one of the youngsters is the same level of Watts, can do the game time at the intensity Watts does, if so please name him?
Watts is a massive miss and you dismissing it means you don't understand the basics of rugby.

| Second half was better for Miloudi. He times his runs well when joining the line and has good upper body strength

| Thought Chris Green was excellent second half together with Scott Taylor.

Green could be as good as Watts imo but for some reason lacks any form of consistency. He can be our best forward for one game then bit part/invisible for the next five. Theres a good forward in there who only comes out on occasion. Wasnt a fan for ages but now i think hes better than Bowden who suffers with the same inconsistency - number two forward place is open too just waiting for someone to raise their game to fill it

He's definitely got some talent and as long as he learns from his mistakes will be a useful squad player.

All men are created equal, some work harder in preseason.

| People say Green needs to be more consistent but I can't recall him having a particularly poor game - when he actually gets a game - for a while now. My only criticism is he lacks a mean streak; got better after he took a jarring knock today and the expressionless face turned to a grimace

| Surprisingly Saints picked a very similar team today as the one that played Wigan. We can bring back Shaul, Carlos, Houghton, Lane, Masi, and fingers crossed Manu to freshen things up. It could just give us the edge.

| I managed to make the game today after a mad dash from the airport but was wishing I hadn't bothered at half time. Probably one of our worst 40 minutes for some time although our goal line defence was good.
2nd half was much better but we continue to make too many errors and give away too many penalties. wakey scored 3 tries off dropped balls today and we were lucky we had enough in the tank (an an amazing drop goal) to come back for the win although really it should have been much more comfortable but for the errors. wakey were pretty dire TBH and with the possession and field position they had in that first half should have had teh game wrapped up by half time
griffin was a beast and is much better when played on the left (as is carlos), taylor and green both good and litten showed some really good distribution out of acting half and didn't look at all out of place.
Hats off to miloudi who came back from a couple of shocking errors and did well in the 2nd half I thought. For his first SL game he went well overall
We will need to be much better on Friday if we're to be in with a shout
