| Who do you drop for the Wakey game, based on last night could be a few?
Sneyd, but we have no one else
Logan but we have no one else
I'd certainly look to bring in Reece Dean who has a bit of zip about him, in place of Abdul who looked lost last night.

| Quote Graham Richards="Graham Richards"If anyone was in any doubt about our coach now is the time to wake up. We were completely outcoached last night for the third week running.
Betts who is not exactly the most well thought of coach outside of Widnes had us totally sussed last night. Slight change in his plans as Radford decided to mix the pack up a bit. Why the hell he had Mini on the bench at the start I would love to know. As a result Mini never got going once he was on.
I think Radford thought he'd be clever by having Frank on from the off "they won't be expecting that, aren't I clever chaps".
We are woefully poor on the flanks. Logan (has great potential) but christ he is NOT Yeaman. He shoots out of defence so many times. Has done all season and YET he has not had it knocked out of him yet. Who is coaching him? This in turn makes his winger look poor.
From the expensive play of yes a friendly and then Salford and Catalans we now have a 5 drives and a kick policy. As has been said Bradford circa 2002. Awful awful awful.
Last night showed what we can expect in the summer when the grounds are hard and fast. We will be shockingly exposed due to this inane policy of having 6ft giants across the park who are only capable of battering through the middle.
The only way to prevent that from happening is to have a dramatic change of policy. That team last night were carrying out the instructions of their coach. Pure and simple. Its his tactics that are being implimented. Betts saw through them. Wane and his kids saw through them and Powell once again outfoxed him. I can guarantee we wouldn't do to Catalans and Salford what we did to them a few short weeks ago now.
Mr Pearson does not have many people queing up to buy his club so he only has one option. That is to use what he has delivered to the best of its ability. He has listened to the fans. He has delivered a good squad. All he needs now is a coach to bring the best out of them. So long as he persists with Radford we will forever fall short.
I won't even comment on players locking the coaches out of the dressing room. That should not happen at any level of any sport. Disgrace.'"
Good post for me!!

| Quote unknownlegend="unknownlegend"Dave, I heard his absence last week was nothing to do with being "injured".'"
Perhaps he felt he should start and perhaps he thought he could do a better job than the starting forwards and perhaps our coach didn't agree and perhaps he was left on so we could all see what he could do. But that's only my thoughts of course and perhaps they are a bit scewed as I'm b*ggered this morning! He was certainly on much too long for me however! Ellis the only one who came out of it with any credibility for me I'm afraid!

| Rather than posting straight after the game last night, in a state of utter embarrassment and disappointment after what I'd just watched, I thought I'd sleep on it in an effort to make a more balanced post. But even this morning it's pretty difficult. No Hull FC side should ever have 46 points put past them, it's simply unacceptable.
I think last night was a combination of two things;
- Firstly, most of the players were awful. Some really lazy defence, one side of the line moving up and the other static, shirt-pulling, awful reads. Attack was sloppy, kicking game almost non-existent, slow and easy to read plays.
- Secondly, I think our tactics have been figured out by the opposition. The first two games we were an unknown quantity to a degree & streamrolled Salford & Catalans. But since then, sides have realised they aren't beating us up the middle and are getting their fast men on the ball more, spreading the ball wide, kicking early etc, and I don't think we have a plan B. That's down to Radford & his coaching team.
I said before the season starts that I give Radford until after Easter Monday, which would be 8 games in (Salford, Cats, Cas, Wigan, Widnes, Wakey, Rovers & Warrington), a third of the regular season. That's a pretty favourable fixture list to start the season, and we should be looking at a 6 wins.
Obviously 6 wins from 8 is unachievable now, and Radford doesn't have the excuse of a decimated squad hit by injuries like Hudds, Rovers or Leeds.
Do we do what Rovers did, cut our losses and get rid now, or do we persevere for 3/4 more games and see if Radford & the players can regain some form? I think Pearson will do the latter. Jake summed the situation up at the start of the thread, if Radford does go, you can guarantee Richard Horne will be coach at least until the end of the season.

Good post . Sums it up . Found out , caught Salford and Cats cold .
No playmaker , no plan B . Old Bradford Bulls tactics won't cut it .

The only slight caveat I'd make is that Ellis explicitly stated that they failed to follow Radford's plan for last night. Now whether he meant tactics or something else I don't know but the players are clearly not doing what Radford wants them to do for some reason. That's not absolving Radford of responsibility, just shifting the focus of his failure slightly.
