you just prooved my point, funny how a couple of other wigan posters on here didn't complain at our tactics and tackling, only you, granted we got penalised but it was no different from what wigan were doing, take your cherry n white spectacles off now and then it helps

| Quote: P-J "If you watch the replay the initial contact was with Yeaman's chest, then he raised his arms. If there hadn't have been a bust up seconds before the referee wouldn't have done anything about the incident. It was Ganson's fault for having no control over the match - Yeaman and Tomkins should have seen yellow to diffuse the situation. Instead Joel got the ball from the tap and went straight for Yeaman.
He'll also get a three game ban, he plays for Wigan after all, Red Hall will show him no leniency.
There's a difference between 'taking it to' a team and playing outside of the rules.'"
Enough said. You've just anwered you own question. As for 'playing outside the rules', what, Wigan's rules??

| Performance full of guts and courage today, Fitz for me has rallied the troops and we will win more games than we lose, that i have no doubt. We deserved a win today without a doubt.
Turning points for me were from the east quoted earlier).
Tickle trying to force the pass on halfway thus losing possession.
Washy knocking on from acting half just after the Tomkins send off.
Ganson shocking.
The 2 Tomkins brothers are the 2 most bigoted players in the league for me. Joel deserving a good crack when he got sent off. Didnt see you try it on on the 4 Nations tour Joel, haha and as for the other one, does he do what we saw in the WCC every game, sit there bawling his eyes out like a big baby?
*Please don't use the previous word on here to describe anyone, whether they're from the East or not.
Thank you
Karen

Sam Tomkins is a talented player no doubt but what bugs me about him is his petulance and playing for penalties at every opportunity. Hopefully the refs will wise up to his tactics and penalise him for it.

Spot on Paul Sharp cost us the game ..He had no need to leave his wing open ..it was us how had the extra man ..the gap he left I could have got to the line at my age

Sam Tompkins went down like he'd been shot in front of us when Manu (I think) caught him on the chest then went up. Rolling around like a pussyballer. He was so badly hurt he got up and kicked the penalty to touch. Don't like the kid - great with ball in hand but a very cynical player.

| Well just got in after having some food after the game. Today for the first time in a long time I left the game happy with the team effort. We challenged all through the game and looked like we had a semblance of a gameplan. Cannot fault any of the players overall, yes there were mistakes but overall they did their best and that is all you can ask of them.
If we can match the attitude and produce a better kicking game we will be a tough team to beat. Now is the time to build on this and continue.

| I am also very very proud of them today, we went up against a champion side, rammed full of talent and really gave it a go so much so we were the better side overall and RA is correct in saying we deserved much more than we got from the match today .
four issues lost us the match today and nothing more.
Sharp was cought ball watching twice and he paid for it.. he will learn and grow as we grow... dont forget the effort he put in too mind...
also the suicide pass made from on his back when clearly tackled basically removed the pressure in one penalty
also the Ganson effect who was today in my honest opinion the worst i had seen so far this season, we counted 7 penalties that on VT were clearly not penalties , the worst was the one against Hame...
lots of plusses in the game, we finally ticked lots of boxes and look good for a drive up the table now!!
very proud indeed
