im guessing u have never played the game like most of the stupid half wits who put on this site.all teams need a work horse.ye radders is not most gifted player but plays with pride not like most the over paid prema donnas at the club....

the last quality coach hull had was peter sharp and he brought out the best in some of the so called deadwood. Horne dowes hall washbrook and radford all played very well under sharp.

While I don't think Sharp was a bad coach he certainly isn't the best. I'd say Dowes and Washy looked better under Sharp however I'd say Radford has looked much better under Agar. Also he got the advantage of working with a Richard Horne who wasn't suffering from health problems.

The same coach that pulled off the least effective pre-season recruitment campaign in our recent history.

Dykes, Byrne, Cusack, Berrigan !!!

I don't rate Agar one bit but even he is still struggling from Sharpe's tenure in charge. That bloke took us massively backwards and his legacy still lives on in our squad. Only next year can we look to offload some of his mediocre players or at least re-negotiate their contracts.

That is in my opinion very harsh indeed.
Berrigan has been an excellent servant for the club but a lot of folk seem to have very short memories.
Dykes when fit was outstanding however he was a gamble that didnt work
Cussack is like berrigan , been an outstanding player for the club but just ran out of steam this year.
And Byrne was one of the best professionals and most committed players i can recal, not the most gifted but he gave everything for FC that could never EVER be doubted!!

according to wikepedia.dykes played 12 games for hull.it was a shame about dykes,class player but his body was spent.no disrespect to him or long,but hull need to invest in more youthful players in the halfs.we need half back stability.but then we all know that.

Its amazing we was 10 minutes away from 4th place and then we get beat by Rovers and all of a sudden we Need to get rid of deadwood and half our playing staff. I would agree Washbrook isn't good enough and maybe one or two more(Hall and Cusack) but all of sudden some people think we need a overhaul of squad. We had a young winger out of his depth but not his fault, Horne had to go to fullback and he is not and never will be a fullback. Washy is the worst number 6 in the league. We missed Tansey and Yeaman and they would have made a big difference IMO.

sharps problem was,he wanted too many utility players in the side.a good utility player is a valuable asset,like whiting.but when you have a team half full of them,you have no real stars.thats why he preferred motu tony to shaun briscoe.
