I'm not convinced we should be paying a hefty fee for sammutt. He's a decent enough player but from what I've seen he lacks the organisational skills we're crying out for. I'm not sure what his kicking game is like but can't ever remember it so it's probably mediocre at best, plus he wants to go back to Oz.

It's OK having some cash to pay transfer fees, but they're really a requirement of a poor player development and recruitment strategy IMO

Maybe that is what Hudgell meant about selling fans short - you can't have rumours when your recruitment is acknowledged to be complete.
