Yeh I agree, the senior players was outstanding, watts , mickey, houghton, superb. Surely houghton as pushed in front of mcllorum for international honours, he's been brilliant all year. With 6 teenagers in the starting 17 and Jack Logan just 20, the future's looking good and it makes the performance tonight all the more remarkable.

I also think a big factor is the young players are desperate to impress and get a career in the game, whereas some of the senior members of the squad have been too comfortable for too long Sa & Yeaman being just two examples of players who's best days are long-gone and have put in mediocre displays. Would much rather see an exciting centre with pace like Logan than the likes of those two.
