If Aspy goes and Horne retires then maybe two more would be brought in or maybe Goldie would be kept as cover? If we have only signed 6 players then I reckon we won't have a new back row forward just yet. Maybe waiting for more news on Bulls situation?

I agree with your team, except I'm a big whiting fan and would like to see him at Loose forward, Also rekon Tickle will leave, it's a very strong rumour and hasn't been denied by him or the club.

I hope Horne, Mcgoldrick and Aspinwall do stay, great strength in depth.

Tickle wont be at Hull for 2013, just waiting for Hull to finish the season before anything is announced.

Dont think so, they did make them off quota and non fed though for the length of their next contract, increasing their value (and potential contract length). Thats why Rovers could sign Withers and O Hara and have 9 overseas players.

Again I feel the tickle deal is possible on once we sign a replacement. Could be a great bit of business by Hull.

I'm still not convinced that Tickle is leaving. That has been posted on these boards every year for atleast the past 3 seasons and he's still with us. The only posters that ever mention it are Widnes fans so it seems as though it's more hope on their part than anything else.
I'd like him to stay - good backrower and one of the best kickers.

If he did leave then it wouldn't be the end of the world. We would still be able to lineup something like

Ellis
Westerman
Whiting

Aspinwall/Pitts/New Signing




On the subject of Wingers, I would be disappointed if we were to sign Crookes. We have Lineham and Briscoe signed up for next season, and Crookes is not a player who would improve on either of these (unless we were to sign him as cover).

I'm also sceptical of Arundel as he has only played 4 games this year because of a bad shoulder injury. We would have to be certain of his fitness before we would sign him. I also think that Ben Crooks will become our centre for years to come if he is able to bulk up a bit and improves his defence.

Arundel has already signed.

I am aware of that fact. I am saying that I am sceptical of whether it will be a good signing due to his injury that has caused him to miss 20 out of 24 games this season.
