The lastest rumour is that Hulls recruitment for 2011 is over. Though rumour has it that this rumour is just a rumour.

If we can't get the players we want then I would prefer to keep the money available for anyone that might become available during the season.

We currently are scheduled to lose Hall, Calders, Yak and Dowes. So far we have only brought in Sharp. I would imagine there will be 1 or 2 more to come.

If we let those 4 go and only replaced them with one or two our youngsters will be getting some game time next season.

Calders has an offer on the table, so still could be staying yet.

If that's true, it would seem to suggest that Briscoe might be being considered for the centre spot next year.

All depends on him proving his fitness.

I heard that's the plan for next year for Tom. Lots of competition for place in the backs possibly.

Centre - Yeaman, Briscoe, Whiting, Turner
Wing - Sharp, Calderwood, Lyne, Briscoe

Id rather see briscoe at centre, he'd see alot more action and would score alot more trys at centre.

Good to see the competition but I'm happier with the wing set up than the centres. Yeaman hasn't hit his best form for a long while imo, Briscoe will be very new to role and could take a while to adapt while Turner has been hit and miss with his form so far.

Berrigan is also an option if we have cover for Houghton. Washy perhaps?

Sort of. As I understand it, the deal is for a massively reduced 'base' salary, which increases depending upon how many games he plays. Should he play every game, the amount he'd earn wouldn't be far off his current salary.
