8th wow you must have slipped up here as at least there examples quoted in it. The teams across the various sports that have used the psychologists do have have one startling thing in common though. The have all won absolutely nothing since that article was written, nil, zero.

It looks like Adam Pearson is of the same view about having a sports psychologist on the staff. He has been prepared to invest in back up which will improve the team like better training facilites, conditioning and medical support but not surprisingly is less keen on throwing away his cash on a snake oil salesman. Then again he only has a long and largely successful history in sports management so no doubt struggles to compete with your blinding knowledge.'"

| Well, that St George team we had a run out against has won their first 3 games and sit at the top of the NRL.
And we'd have done them with our best 17 out.  |

They had a few ist team players missing but i have to say we played well and moved the ball about a lot more than we do here.
The other thing that helped our play was having two referees.
Just wish we had that system here.

Whatever, the poster said sports psychology in team sports isn't useful/any good or whatever ramble, when it is. I gave links for them to read, they still wouldn't bother to admit they were wrong, basically outing that they don't understand anything about how important it is and how it can improve individuals within a team environment, that means they don't have a clue, ergo clueless.
That isn't abuse, that's pointing out an actuality of someone who is ignorant of a very basic matter when it comes to performance in not just sport but elsewhere in life.

I'll sit back and let others decide whether your overwhelming knowledge and evidence presented of the essential value of sports psychology for a team sport has convinced anyone else apart from your imaginary friends in your head. As I noted earlier an amateur like Adam Pearson seems to disagree with you.

Possibly but i think the fast play the ball we had as a result of the two ref system helped our style of play. |
