Without looking it up I thought the marquee player had to get at least 175K but only half counts on the cap, therefore around 90K. That could be credibly explained by the release and loan Sts have just done.

Yes you are right, Saints would need 175 of the cap as the rest is the marquee rule, so taking Owens and Walker off the cap at a guess would have released about 100k. |
