Not to say it wont be arrested for next season,but I am hoping Hull can capitalise on this type of situation. |

Think fudg was hoping to build a shoestring squad without interference from anyone else.Rovers have released some big earners but have being replaced with cheaper options.The signing of Misi Taulapapa,and subsequent talk of him not being wanted,all within 6 weeks is laughable really. |

Hmm not really. Last year they finished 5th and failed in the playoffs this season they finished 4th and failed in the playoffs. I think there problem is they have arguable the best squad in SL which means they do well in the league table but they don't have the best 17 players which hampers them in big games.
They will be around the top 6 again I feel.
That said it could be Brown's last year and they do rely heavily on Brough, Brown and Robinson and those three faded badly last season. |

Well, according to many on here, we had a terrible season led by a terrible coach. Also the team had key, ageing, players like Long and FItz who couldn't keep fit, thus leaving major parts of the cap in the treatment room. However, we were only 5 points of finishing fourth.
Next year we have significanlty improved the coaching set up at all levels (or why the hell did we bother to change?) and we have significant and young cover in the spine of the team (which is why many on here are complaining that we're light in the forwards). There's only one signing that people seem particularly concerned about and he's been performing pretty well in a very poor team so he might surprise us.
Next year's team must have aspirations of finishing top four with an outside chance of top two or what is AP's rhetoric all about? He's told us he wants us in the short-term to be one of the top two teams is SL with the longer-term vision of being the best in the world.

Just lost Griffin to Leeds aswell finally confirmed. |

Agree with all of that but last season we didn't have the paper thin forward pack that we look like we'll be going with this year.
Having a strong pack with depth is the most important part of the squad over 27 rounds and even an average amount of injuries could see us really struggle up front.
Very concerning ! Unless of course there are a couple to come in which looks unlikely. |
