Quote garry brindley="garry brindley"Once he leaves us, Agar will never be a head coach in SL again.
Kear had won a Challenge Cup before he came to us and another one with us. McRae had won SL with Saints and taken us nearly to the top. If he leaves tomorrow, Rich Agar has the square route of precisely nothing that he can point to to justify him getting another crack at the top level.'"
Except for the fact that he is so well thought of in the game he was wanted for the England job.
Whats to say he wouldnt become an assistant and take over again?
He could lead a Championship side into Super League. Wakefield, Fev, Barrow?
You can never say never.
I follow Quins and believe me, not one person I spoke to game after game down there though Mac would work again when he left Quins.
Depsite the crap he got for the time he was down there the people who knew what he was doing from day to day are now seeing the fruits with plenty of young English lads getting game time and doing a pretty decent job so far this year too (forget today or I look silly)
Leeds have not given him the job because he is cheap, or for the way he took Quins to 11th, it was because people got off their ass and bothered to check the work he was doing.
Richard Agar can coach, I'm not sure Hull will give him enough time to prove it but someone will.
Everyone has their own opinion and I respect yours, fact is neither of us know for sure what the future holds buddy.
