I was in the North Stand that day and without a single exception, all the Rovers fans around me stood and applauded Tom Briscoe from the field. I was very moved by the show of support for the lad. I felt very similar on Friday when the South Stand started the "1 Chev Walker" chant, which spread around the ground.
PS. You Don't Need To Start Every Word With A Capital Letter!

Just because one bunch of stupid tw*ts clap and cheer an injury DOES NOT make it acceptable.
And just because it might happen again, does not make clapping and cheering justified under the argument 'well you lot clapped and cheered when player X went off'
Grow up you stupid bunch of morons.
Loyalty and just being a c**t are close bed fellows but totally different.
I dont think anyone on here could, should and can condone any prickish behaviour like the clapping of an injury.
And anyone trying to defend it needs a drill putting to their head!

Looking at that it looks like Senior didn't just tackle him. To me it looks like he attempts to trip Walker with his right foot hooked around Chev's lower leg. That left the top half of his shin propelled forward without the bottom half causing the horrendous break.
OK Senior is mortified afterwards, but that looks to me like an illegal and dangerous challenge in the first place. Surprised no-one has picked up on this but then replays have, of course, been restricted.
