If they do this, hopefully it will only be on a small section of the ground seeing as most people would prefer to be able to sit down and not have to keep getting up for those with small bladders, as well as listen to the p*ssheads abuse (eg "I hope he's broken his neck" when Richard Horne went down for ages).

I can put up with it every now and again, and maybe want a drink in the ground every now and again, but I struggled to put up with it every week that season.

Surely though being able to sit in your paid for seat with a pint BEFORE the game rather than having to stand in the concrete wind tunnel isn't unreasonable or difficult to organise is it? It may get a few more into their seats before the teams get on and improve the atmosphere? Better beer at lower prices and getting away from "amateur half hour" pre match entertainment would also be pre requisites as well!

But if it bothers other people it's different story. I can't be doing with letting people past all the time going for a pee and ruining my view.

i really dont find it an issue to stand up for a few seconds while people pass by. even if it is 4 times a game... is it really that irritating?

Yes. If one person in the row gets up twice, that's 4 times a game. You can multiply that by at least 3 where I sit. Not to mention beer-showers when we score. Was much, much better last season without it.

yes it is very irritating! i can remember harlequins away last season, lost count how many times i had to stand to let people by for drinks, in the end i refused to move, i paid to sit down not to be a jack in the box, if people cant go without a pint for 40 minutes its them that have a problem, not the ones who dont.

Irritates the hell out of me. If it's the row in front and they have to stand up that means I can't see, if it's my row it disturbs me and the row behind can't see. If people can't do without a drink for 40 minutes they need to be seeking help.

I drank in my seat every single time we had the privilege to do so, and not once did I feel the need to get up and go to the toilet. The average human bladder can go 40 minutes without having to empty itself. It was maybe better for you last season, but it was much worse for me and those around me. Perhaps a section of the seating could be reserved for adults, wanting to drink? Surely the profit made from the hugely overpriced drinks could be put to good use?

Agreed Mrs B.

I'd be very surprised if they allowed drinking again. There were a number of incidents which led to the withdrawal of the privilege last season.

I'm very much in the no drinking camp as well. It's not just the standing up to let people out, but you then have to stand up again a few minutes later to let them back in. This happens often enough where I sit even without allowing drinking in the seats.
