| If Bomber was to come in as an advisor to help assess the players and coaching set up and oversee the Agar departure and subsequent employment of a new coach then i could live with that but it needs to be done now and not in the close season.

In your opinion
Again, were did I have a go at east hull fan?
And..... what?'"
I commented that I didn't think it was intended as an attack although pointed out some of the language was OTT. He agreed and even apologised.
You mentioned ICM yesterday on a thread which had nothing to do with him so not in my opinion.

| Tony Smith joined Warrington as Head of Coaching and not Director of Rugby. James Lowes was then appointed "first team coach". That's the same job title John Kear had under Shaun McRae at Hull.
In effect Lowes was demoted.

| IMO the director of rugby role [ican[/i work, but the coach has to be on board with the idea to stand any chance. It could be a decent option for us to get more rugby sensibility into the running of the club.
I don't think that Agar should fit into plans either way, though, he's simply outstayed his welcome now.

Has there ever been an example of a DOR and a head coach working? You need to have one person in charge IMO.

I was willing to give him a chance, as were plenty of others. He's had it, and failed.
He might not have ever been the man we wanted, but he was welcome to prove his worth. Arguably he did, it just wasn't much.

Somebody else made the point, most other clubs are owned and run by people who essentially do what we'd possibly get a DOR in for.
I'd prefer we got the right coach in and didn't need to go down the DOR route, I'm just saying that it [icould[/i work with the right people, as it can actually suit both parties depending on what responsibilities they want.
