Yes for the service we have had from him for the last 3 years with him being a high earner.Only my opinion of co.

Over the past three years he's been one of our better players or his been shifted around in position.

maybe he wants to go back to the broncos so he can get a life membership.....

Its not been difficult to be one of the star performers in your current squad over the last few years or so. Plus he played all over the park for Brisbane, Queensland and Aus and was a star performer on a seriously consistant basis. Its not hard to assume he is on possibly the best contract at FC!

Its pretty obvious for me that Berrigan, Shrek and Fitz will be 3 of our if not top 3 earners.

It would be a big loss for us if he left. Although at times he looks average but its because hes too advanced for most of our squad imo.

I know he hasn't lived up to many people's expectations, but from what I've seen of him (not loads, admittedly), he's always looked quite dangerous. In 2008 and 2009 he was playing, in a variety of positions, in an injury ravaged and struggling team. Always going to be hard to look top class in those circumstances. Also, who'd be available to come in at this stage?

as I recall, little of the hype came from Berrigan himself, it was other people's perceptions of him, and you have to factor in that he came in to a side that where (and in some cases still are) light years behind the speed at which he thinks and plays the game, he has also covered many positions and had various issues in his private life.

Has he been overpaid, perhaps, is that his fault, absolutely not, and he certainly hasn't been overpaid to the extent that some of the total failiures I have seen in FC shirts over the years have been.
