I disagree tbh, at the end of the day it is about money & if FC offer the best & Taylor is happy job done, Hudge had no qualms in letting us have Watts in the middle of the season, I have no doubts if Taylor did come to us though there would be a few snide remarks but that is just the personality of the little runt, his business head is a different matter though.

The gist of the conversation with Scott Taylor`s side of things is that he will NEVER go to Wigan as he can`t stand them. He didn't want to discuss his contract until the end of this season has he still has a year from september for it to run, at this point Hudgell started sulking and some of the things that were said by Hudgell which I can`t repeat on here made the Taylor position at the club untenable. He is prepared to see out his final year and make a decision then and only then. If a club makes the dobbins a big enough offer then obviously things could change. As it is now, Scott is level headed enough and he has had sound advice given to himself from around the game to bide his time. On the `in camp` problems at Kr things are not looking very good. Far too many big time charlies running the show for a certain `wingnuts` liking.

While I don't think all those targets are likely, re-signing the likes of Crooks, Lineham, Bowden & Green on what are probably much smaller contracts allows us to recruit better at the top end of the market.

With Green & Bowden both now signed, and Lynch & Watts here, are we looking at just one front row signing? Or will we go with six next year?

I think that is the blueprint going forward, top class signings mixed with young players coming through.

I still think we will bring in two props, one younger player and one experienced.

I still think we'll re sign/replace Moa and O'Meley.

Why would we buy another young prop when we have Watts, Bowden & Green?

I'd rather somebody more experienced. The kid may be very good, but he has no real experience to call on.

Would love the Taylor rumours to be true. I as many would, would love to see Taylor in B+W. Maybe young but with our other youngsters and ones to come in would grow as a team for years to come... IF YOUR GOOD ENOUGH YOUR OLD ENOUGH...

We shouldn't go just British for the sake of it, we want to be successful, that won't happen with a squad of no experience.
