We still lack options at 1/2 back. If long gets injured in the 1st game we're back to where we've been for the last year and a half with horne/berrigan and washbrook as our 1/2 backs and they've proven they're not consistently good enough.

But it could be said that working from behind an agressive strong pack then Berrigan / Horne etc would be alot more effective . Very few halfbacks can work behind a beaten pack , so signing Sam for me adds to that aggressive pack .

however if only 10% of that 10,000 actually possess a facebook acount, then that figure of 2% becomes 20% and 2,500 fans : - ) , at least thats how jimmy rule would see it

If Turner signs I would see him as cover. Would rather have Hall at right centre and I rate Briscoe above Turner too. And at loose forward I would rather have Whiting and Washbrook there. Wouldn't mind seeing Turner playing at stand off a few times next year to see what he can do.

I'd have preferred us to go for Rachford(sp) as opposed to a centre cum lose man. We need a young stand off and he sounds like a very good prospect. Can't see Salford letting any more youngters slip through their fingers if they're losing Myler as well.
