Don't post very often on here but read everyday and have done for years. I have never read so much in all my life. lewis_hullfc you are a complete kn0b,wishing injury on a player. What is it with certain Hull FC fans that they have to find somebody to have a go at? Who will it be next week? My point has nothing to do with him being a 'local lad'. My point was that this thread is a load of b0ll0cks. It started out with someone saying Yeaman is injured and very quickly, thanks to yourself by the way, descended into player bashing. For someone who allegedly hates player bashing you do a very good impression of someone that does. That was my point and that's a fact!!!

How is that list truly dumb? Only Soliola and Menzies are 2nd rowers and they both can/are playing to a higher standard at centre than Kirk. Goulding does look good playing in a good team because he makes them the good team they are. You ask how Yeaman would look in that side, even more exposed technically than at Hull probably. I'd hazard a guess Charnley wouldn't have scored nearly as many tries last season playing outside of Yeaman.

As a side note I also disagree with the good meter maker comment. His runs from dummy half are awful and often result with a carry of less than 5 meters and a slow play the ball. Couple that with the handling errors that have crept more and more into his game the last few years I think I'd rather he let Tom do twice the work instead.

I'd be interested in which posts on this thread constitute 'player bashing'. Or does any mention of a weakness in a players game count?

As for folk who say they're just happy for a player to turn up and give 100% - I guess I must have imagined all the complaints about our lack of success over the last few years.

Not every centre has the ability to put his winger away...we was blessed when we had the panther,as for Yeaman...yes,not great with ball in hand and will not step around a player with a side-step but he is deceiptively quick,strong taking ball up and a handfull nr the line,runs good angles and his defence is arguabley the best centre defence in SL.I dont think anyone had picked up on the fact that Manu has now gone and the chances just arent coming down that side and sides maybe paying to much attention to the fact that we Was a left hand side attack.We only have 3 centres in the 1st team squad and Yeaman is the best of them.
