You've answered your own question there.
Who's going to cover Horne while he misses half the season due to injuries. Hasn't been good enough for Hull for a number of years now, imo of course. |

After just listening to Shaun McRae on Airlie Night, Aug 29th, it would very much seem that the issues surrounding the signing of Chase, is with getting the deal done with Cas. It all seems to be around contract issues rather than the Visa, of which there is no mention.
He also said they (Hull FC) are extending the deadline for an extra week or longer, if it seems that a deal can be done.

| I'm not holding my breath for next Tuesday, as an Arsenal fan if this transfer deadline day has anything to go by and knowing my luck the actual players AP & PG announce next Tues will be way off what we have all been hoping for!

I'm normally very optimistic but after the inevitable that the Bulls are confirmed in SL for 2013 it could mean the rumoured Bateman and or Whitehead will stay at Bradford.
Also, if it's not 100% sorted with Rangi and we miss out on him aswell then it could be too late and were left with all the average players again.

Personally, after reading all the latest posts i am smiling but also laughing.. AP and PG have been great all year. But been a hull fan all my life, when it comes to transfer target 9/10 we dont get the big names in question.
Ellis is a bonus, its a done deal. But I'm waiting for Sept 4th for the announcements before believing anything.. IMO
