| Quote Mild mannered Janitor="Mild mannered Janitor"To say Briscoe is VERY POOR under the bomb suggests you have not attended as many games as you claim. That is a blinkered attitude. You are in a minority of one with this opinion. Having an opinion is fine, but you have to back it up, which you have not done.
He catches the vast majority which go to him. He has an awful game on Saturday, live with it.
Will Sharp was poor under the high bomb in the early rounds of last season, hence he got targetted by the opposition and Briscoe didn't as he was more competant.'"
I agree with this, has anyone given a thought to the blazing sun in his eyes on Saturday? Even the commentators mentioned and showed how bad it was!

Go back to the videos of last season. Briscoe was at fault for more tries than Will Sharp in terms of errors. People just refuse to see the huge flaws in Toms game.
He is a very good rugby player and has huge potential but since everyone has, as usual, overrated a young players game he has not kicked on sufficiently. He isn't, and very likely will never be, world class.

Rubbish, Watts will be in the 17 next year and Pitts will be a great squad player. Horne and Mcgoldrick can stay for me as back up but not starting 17 players.
Agree about Seymour.

I'd use all of them as squad/back up players, I just don't think any of them are good enough to be in the 17

Have you been watching Watts? From what I've seen he has a great drive forward and a good offload. Good player coming off the bench!

I have and he still has lots to work on. Still gives away silly penalties and misses tackles on smaller quicker players. He also seems to lose the collision a lot, get turned in the tackle and get a slow play the ball.

I'd say it's more that he deliberately turns in the tackle to look to offload the ball, and losing the collision is the price of this. The key is to get players to follow him in and exploit it, thus cutting out the resulting slow PTB. We don't need all of our props to be looking for the floor every time, the variety will do us good. IMO he's been our best mid-season signing and well worth a place next year on current form.

| Turner, FFS pull a sickie and sit at home till September, i have to say i thought he looked real quality for three or four games then he went back to his old self... for someone who came with such hope his defence is shocking and in a fitter squad i am sure he would not feature!!!
Horne.. Good cover utility player but not a first pick any more by a mile..
Westerman ... Sorry just dont see anything in him at all, poor mans danny tickle for me and for anyone to say he is a future captain is just nuts!! another big 2nd rower who doesnt do his hype justice.

It is his fault that he's been hyped and paid for by a big fee?

Think you've hit one of the problems on head there, but not in the way you've described. He is not a big 2nd rower. According to the FC website he is a full stone lighter than Tickle and 2 lighter than Manu despite being taller than both. That's why he looks like a poor man's Danny Tickle when trying to play the same barge- role. We need to get more out of his footwork and hands than brute force IMO.
