How is paying his wages detrimental to income? The board will have a set budget for wages in their P&L report of which paying 1 head coach is a part of. So if they sacked him then signed a new coach, which they will probably pay a signing on fee as well as the new coachs wages, then that falls outside of the budget.
Its not as easy as 'the fans are peeved off so let's get rid' many things would have to be taken into account from a financial view. As if the above happened something else would have to be sacrifised. |
