You've got to laugh eh?
As good as Willie is and has been for us he is no way a better player than Ellis. You do not get voted as player of the season for a team like Wests in the NRL (with the players they have) once unless you are pretty good let alone 3 years on the trot!!
Willie on his day can be a devastating player but he has also at times this season been pretty anonomous in some games.
Still gutted to see the guy leave for Saints as with him and Ellis together could and probably would have been a devastating force but to say he is better than Ellis is simply laughable. |

Yep. There are certainly no signs that his career is winding down - he does a lot more minutes now than he used to in his first 2/3 seasons at Hull.
Saints signing Manu is (imo) the 2nd best Superleague signing for 2013 at the moment (after Ellis). They've also signed a pile of cack in Turner as a counterbalance. |
