Although its a non starter because he won't be leaving Wigan anytime soon, I think your opinions of Paul Prescott are way off. I'll be surprised if Paul isn't in the England squad at the end of the season. He started the year with a few injurys and went on loan to gain some match fitness and since he has been top draw. That is whilst still returning from injury so will only get better. He also doesn't make the easy 10-15 extra yards from returning kickoffs most of the time as teams always kick to the opposite side of were he is stood because of the destruction he causes.

Regarding yourselves, it doesn't look great the amount of players it seems your going to turnover this year. With so big a turnover I can only see next year as another year of transition. You definitely seem to be heading the right direction under Gentle though.

what ever happened to Fielden at Wigan has he retired?

Fielden keeps getting injured continuously, he seems to get a few weeks from returning pushing himself a little to hard in the gym/training and getting a different injury. Atm he's out with a long term injury due back in August as far as I remember.

Regards O'Carroll I always liked him at Wigan because of his determination, due to never taking a backwards step given his small frame. But at the same time I think that will always slightly limit him. It may be a reason why he gets injured so often aswell. I think he could be a good SL prop but that's his limit, whereas Prescott has the huge frame to push a little higher.

Another thing regarding Prescott that a lot of fans don't know is he is a very clever lad and only finished his law degree around 18 months ago which has coincided with him improving significantly since being able to 100% concentrate on his rugby.

Hope you can keep Turner with this new deal you've offered him. It would leave you with a good set of sl centres so you can concentrate on recruiting for other positions.

Paul Prescott seems like a plodder to me, nothing startling, just does the hard work.
