Don’t usually disagree with your posts Dave, but on this occasion I would say Lewis is incredibly unlucky to lose his place in the team, looked the most threat with ball in hand, and seemed to frighten the life out of the opposition, they couldn’t handle him.

The recall of George probably sums up the failings of Wane as a coach, in a series already won, he stifles the emergence of a young player playing well, with the opportunity to look at him in more detail without the worry of losing the series, unbelievable parochial decision in my humble opinion.

I see your point, whilst Lewis was great in the first game he was poor in the 2nd, the aim has to be to win the 3rd test and build for bigging games, so building partnerships is key, Lewis while a good SL player and a good runner is limited and a poor defender and isn't good enough to play against Aus or NZ.

Even Wane said in his pre match interview before the 2nd test that Lewis wasn’t mom in 1st test and told him what he needed to do more.Lewis is bigged up by the pundits and commentators on both sky and bbc.He is a good SL player and no more.I wouldn’t be surprised to see Williams and Welsby in the half’s going forward after this series.

Good to see Mulhern called up as he has had a superb season and does big minutes but Ben Currie….he is bang average and that’s being kind to bang average…we have enough props to move McMeeken back to his best position of 2nd row imo.

Not really a meltdown is it? Williams hasn’t been 5 times better then anyone this season at all he’s been ok when not injured, in your post below you state that Lewis was good first game but poor second, everyone could see that Lewis was very good the first game and he gets bums off seats every time he touched the ball, but then Shaun Wane did what he seems to do with certain clubs players he played it down said he wasn’t that good and challenged Lewis to improve his defence which he did massively in the second game and defended really well but with that structure Wane took away a lot of what we saw in the first game, it’s poor coaching for me Lewis has done what the coach wants him to do and then dropped him for following the coaches orders,

Errr…No I wouldn’t….and it’s not because he plays for Rovers,I just think he is overrated.

All teams have overrated players and yes FC have had some so what’s your point?…It’s my opinion that Lewis is overrated and is bigged up by sky and bbc commentators.For me Lewis goes missing in to many games and is a running half…not got a good passing game and his kicking game is hit and miss.Where will he play now you have Abdull and May for half’s as well?

Definite meltdown, been loads of comments, including one Rovers fan saying despite having a ticket, isn't going to the game. If he was been replaced by someone like Dodd, I could understand, but he has been replaced by a better player (even this season) who has performed well in SL, Internationally and in the NRL.

And some of our overrated players delivered silverware…unlike overrated players at your mob.
