Super League last year was one of the poorest standards for some time. A number of teams will be better next year whilst we look to stand still at best unless we have some serious luck and hope , just hope , that some players find some form that hasn't been seen from them for some years. FC certainly have no God given right for anything but the fans and facilities alone give them a fair start over more than 50% of the rest of the teams in the competition. People who don't care about the club don't post opinions on forums , why would they if they didn't care? The club are done no favours by yes men and criticism is absolutely necessary for any organisation to succeed. My concern is based on statements from the club that suggest we don't need more signings and they're happy with what they've got. But then they have to say that because James Rule is right , if they said anything else then their recruitment strategy would indeed be seen to have been poor in previous years. I hope that is spin and that they know they have to just get through 2011 as best they can and that they have a plan for 2012.'"

big dave t. doesnt it go "in any kind of weather".not a pass holder myself tbh but i think it should be the team you support not potential success.would you grumble if our at times very dour rugby won us a trophy(like the old 1-0 to the nal that helped them win the league years ago)
and you would have to admit last season was a vast improvement results wise without hb's for half the season.
id wait til the season starts before making judgements.who knows who we may sign or how we will play next season if weve gained any confidence from last season.

I do support the team. I'll still be a supporter next year when not attending. I'm not annoyed because of the lack of success, i'm annoyed at the dour performances and the direction our side is taking. Last season was a small improvement results wise but i've argued on here for years that performances matter more to me than results. |

How can you say "They give us nothing"? Passholders saw us win 10 home games out of 13 last season in the best stadium in the competition, including 2 absolute classics v Saints and Rovers, for a cheaper pass price than you pay at Craven Park. And don't forget the passholders BBQ  |
