The spacing between 4/5 players on the flank was too close, if that's the case the try is alway going to go in on the wing. As a winger your play off your centre, Lineham kept close enough to prevent the try being scored on his inside, the fact there was such a huge gap on his outside is not his fault.

Are you suggesting he should have successfully defended the 15 yards of space on his own? Unless a player is quite obviously out of position or misses a simple tackle you cannot blame them for a try, defence is a team effort and just because he's the winger doesn't mean he should take the blame.

It was a great pass by Catalan, sometimes you just have to accept that, Lineham couldn't have prevented that on his own.

Thank feck their goal kicking wasn't much better than ours. Should never have been that close - but a win is a win.

Those last two trys shouldn't have even threatened the result. 12 points missed in kicks is dreadful.

Our first and last 20 was appalling.

Well done Hull we chucked nothing away we beat a 'top' team despite a poor goal kicking performance. Thaler needs to check what a knock on is and once we got a fair share we were all over them. Big rap to Westy who had a blinder but we need a reliable goal kicker. #coyh

We were lucky in the end as our defending was awful at times.
Lineham's is awful, Crooks had the centre tied up and Lineham leaves his opposing winger a walk in..seriously.

I guess whether we were lucky or not depends very much on hoe much you've invested in slagging radford off before a ball has been kicked.
