We lost. Plain and simple. Entertaining game, Cas put in a great performance. We were good at times, but looked unsettled which was a combination between missing Ellis and new half back (who was excellent) in my opinion.

It was a good game game for the neutral, we looked far better when we got deeper in attack.

I never expected us to be top 4 this season, but with performances like that we'll be scraping into the 8. A game just thrown away through incompetence.

thought Miller played well couple of assists Crooks and Lineham both had good games we missed whiting when he was off the pitch and im sorry to say i just dont rate Galea, maybe time for Dj to stop kicking conversions as well.

I'll very rarely say that a goal kicker costs you the game, as you should simply have played better, but it's a fact tonight that if Holdsworth had kicked even decently we'd have still won, it was the difference between the 2 sides. It's not a one-off, either, he's been missing goals he shouldn't for a while. If he's still got the kicking duties next game I'll be very disappointed.

Hull looked like a different side to the one that was so dominant against Leeds. Though you were unlucky not to be given an 8 point try for the shoulder charge on Crooks as he scored.

Neither did I, but we at least put ourselves in the frame for it a few weeks back. Shame to see it slipping away.

I must have seen a different game. We made a very ordinary side look a lot better than they are. Could still have won with a competent goal kicker, but it was a dire performance.

i think rather than blame holdsworth for the loss, you need to look at some of the tries we let in, very average defence, and 30 points plus conceded for the second time in a row

kicking was poor though, we badly need tickle back

and don't forget - miller can kick goals too
