It's not rubbish. It's just how I feel about the situation. I don't expect that the club will feel the same way, but I reckon to be the best, you have to beat the best. I don't think it's much of an achievement to win the cup having only beaten one decent side in doing so.

Without checking can you remember who Warrington beat in their cup winning runs in the last two years? |

Winning the cup does not mean you are the best though. Winning the league does (arguably before the advent of the play-off structure).
Any team on any given day can come up with a cup upset. Nigh on impossible to do it over a sustained period in a league situation. |

The point I'm making is that there's little value (to me) in a cup that you win by beating loads of NL teams and winning a final against SL opposition. |
