We should be smashing teams like wakefield... Just attack George everytime... He is absolute garbage! Just need to watch out for player like Griffin and morrison who could hurt us if we allow them to play!'"

George is not garbage, he is a good solid winger with pace to burn. I am surprised someone didn't come in for him when we were in administration.

His only weakness is his injury record.

Big shame that Ogre is missing for the next month as we need to go on a run of good form in next 5 games. Still, we are fairly well covered up front and at least it gives Dowes some game time, so signing him up again has not been a complete waste of time. And Moa will be back.

I think Phelps could be a key player tomorrow after a full weeks training. I agree that Longy could have had more memorable matches for FC so far, but when he played last season in games such as the one we face tomorrow, we usually won.

Hoping for us to put a decent score on the board but let's not get too carried away. We have won just one of our first five games so I'll take any sort of win, even if it's as dire as last season's corresponding fixture.

That is the most clueless post regarding my team I have ever read from an opposition fan, can I assume you gleamed this from one TV game where you had both eyes shut.

George has his faults but he's young. That said he is very quick, has great balance and defends well (like all players has the odd lapse)

As for Griffin you are having a laugh, you do realise that was his first ever SL game after a season at Batley and apart from his try he was average. To elevate him up there with Morrison or even above George is hillarious icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

If we have any sense we should surely target george on the wing he is clearly aNot acceptable language and will drop the ball even off a rubbish kick as seen when wakey played wire last week! As for attendance i rekon 11k not helped by the stupid decision to have the east stand reserved!! It will never happen but bring back standing!

Another use of that term or anything similar and you're gone.

That was Johnson not George - and he's the Not acceptable language - look in the mirror pal.

another one using that word and thinking it's fine, time you went vasty.

apologies vastman, I didn't realise someone else had already used the term previously.(edit @11:19)

Anyone having to resort to such comments really needs to extend their vocabulary and also their understanding of the condition.

I think George is in the same boat as Sharp . Both good finishers but both need work on their defence. Murphy is a player I rate and the young prop Johnson also.

I am fully aware of griffins arrival from batley where he also looked very sharp! Obviously not the standard of morrison... But feel that the wakey team now decimated only has a few players of super league standard! George has pace yes but can't tackle whatsoever like a lot of our past wingers even sharp now but sharp is way above that of george! We've taken your star! Deal with it!

See how george copes tomorrow! Can't see any result apart from a score racking game for us! And we haven't even been playing particularly well of late... Except the wigan and cru game of course!

We hope - but tell me the last game we 'racked' up a massive score against any team?

With Agar's tactics i'll be happy with a win!

We racked up some points against cru! And wakefield are much poorer than them! After the majority of the match at wigan we are starting to look better!

But yeah hoping agar doesn't shove long straight into the team should split gametime with obst

What has Obst to do with it d040.gif

George tackles well enough, missed only one last friday - I know I've checked. George has for most of his SL career averaged a try a game, how awfull.

I'm not suggesting George is a future international or even one of the best in SL but he is far from garbage and rarely let's too many in on his wing. Also before damning a winger try looking at where his centre is and you will usually find the cause.

In what way are we MUCH poorer or even just poorer than Crusaders?

I'll accept we are weaker than yourselves and a fair few others but I'd like some rationale as regards your Crusaders statement.

I just think with your deduction and pre season financial disaster... That they are not good enough at the moment... They need leaders on the field other than morrison..

And I agree that mariano is a decent player although he is from the scum... Isn't he injured after the last game though?

Wakefield will be no ones patsy, there is still plently of pride in that wakey team so anyone who believes we are in for a 50 point win may well be disapointed ....
Good to see TL showing some of his skills last week, looked good and mature
