I've not read through this thread what so ever but this is the first post i've read.
And it just about sums it up for me. He's quality we've lacked for so long now and i feel he has the potential to bring us through. And im pretty sure he will. Quality signing im happy...
Also happy with his comments: "It really excites me and I really believe it is going to revitalise my career."

He might not be the player he used to be, but he is winner and what we are lacking. So many times have st helens and shaun long come back from a deficit to scrape a win. I don't doubt for one minute that he'll be captain next year.

Top talent. If he plays for you like saints you will go well.
However he needs the right coach and will need good conditioning. Do you have it?
Also will he be motivated to move to Hull / commute 4 hours a day?

Mixed feelings on this one....he is deffo what we need and have been missing that goes without saying, but his age is against him and he isn't ripping up trees this year or last (in my opion), although i admit i'm not an avid follower of Saints.
As a side issue.....both new signings have stated "after talking to Agar i was excited at what his plans are" or words to that effect would suggest we have got him (Agar) for next season......i'm really worried about our style of play under him.

as long as another SL club dont sign Orford, Prince or Thurston I will be happy with this signing.
Hope we now go for a big prop and not re-sign cusack on the back of this as we still need go forward.

| need the forwards to protect him as he is injury prone but not a bad signing considering visa issues with aussies and he has a kicking game! my only concern is after playing 12 years at one club how will he fit in to Hull and will he be the same player? Jamie Lyon might come to hull if longy can twist his arm |
