Do you remember the CC semi? Two tries came from that exact same move. 
If he'd caught it and held it he'd have been driven back or into touch. |

Its a pity people cant just accept him as a good player and then change their minds if he lets us down. He has nothing to prove for me. |

I've never liked him myself. In fact I used to despise him. That doesn't stop me actually looking at what he's doing and giving credit where it's due, though.

i agree i was one of those that wanted his smug head ripped off everytime he touched the ball against us .
But now its also true about not getting the service to show what he can do in attack..im so impressed with his defence nowadays its not pretty but its affective keep up the good work is all i can say

I dont need to try it i have done plenty of time in the past... Im just saying his performances upto now dont warrant a first team posistion.. Soon as raynors back he'll be the first one out of him and Briscoe i would drop.
Im not saying he's a sh4t player... im just saying he's playing sh5t! I know what he's capable of....
I just feel the team dont have any confidence within him other wise he'd be getting a sh4t load more ball time.

I never said Briscoe was perfect though did i He made a fair few mistakes.. But has still shone in previous performances and been a lot more consistent.

I've seen him play twice. He had a good game against Celtic and a not so good game last night. He's scored one less try than Briscoe with far less service. Defensively there's not much between them - in fact Calderwood is slightly ahead.
The amount of ball he's getting has feck all to do with confidence. Our right wingers NEVER get any ball and his centre isn't one. Having said that, reviewing the game this morning you can see signs of us trying to bring him into play more often - it's just not coming off yet.
When Raynor's back it will be an interesting dilemma for Agar and I don't think it's as clear-cut as you seem to think. |
