Great attendance, puts our average at 12896 so far in the league with Cas, Leeds and Warrington included in the games to come.

I’ve got soft spot for versatile players who can player hooker or half. Brad Drew and Sam Obst types, and I thought Lovodua looked like he could fill that niche for Hull last year. He made the Combined Nations Allstars and looked like a bit of a find. So, yeah - I think ‘enigmatic’ is the word.

seriously think your brain has gone. You obviously go loopy when you are called out for being wrong
The Saints match kicked off at 20.00
my post if you check the time shown on the page was 10.01 / 22.01 which is minutes after the match not 5 hours

| Despite some friendly reminders regarding some of the posts being made and thinking before you post unfortunately these seem to be going unheeded.
Can I remind all users to remember the rules for posting and read the AUP if you are unsure.
The continual petty squabbling and name calling (including spelling to get around swear filter) is tiresome for all.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it differs from your own.
Please can everyone think before posting and post within the AUP and the spirit of a forum.
Thank you.
Chris

I think we should be bold and make it kids for a quid every week, chances are an adult will come with them and they'll buy some merchendise so the 'lost' ticket income is regained. In this era of social media, online gaming and all the rest of it its harder than ever to get the kids hooked on the game.
Biggest thing for crowds though is the team putting a shift in, keep playing as we have over the last 3 weeks and people will keep coming back.

I agree with what you say about kids but surely a winning team challenging for trophies and hopefully winning trophies is what will bring the crowds back.
Its admirable from where we have been that Smith has got the team pulling for each other but winning is the key to all sport

For the Cas game on 15th July the club are offering tickets for £15 for members of the Armed Forces, emergency services, NHS workers and veterans.

Consistency of home form has long been an issue, I think it was 2012 when we had a brilliant record and then of course 2016 we had a good run. Theres been too many times where we've had a big crowd in and completely flopped and of course our frequent end of season drop offs, quite a few seasons we've ended with a whimper. Fingers crossed Smith will sort that.

Unfortunately I'd tend to agree, as TS mentioned in a recent interview he's not sure what his position is. I know he's not had a lot of rugby but would have thought with Griffins ban he would have grabbed the chance to show something but he hasn't. Shame as when he first arrived he looked to be a real find but other than his first few games he's not really shown a lot.

They really are trying, on and off the pitch and that attendance for a Saturday, was great to see. I think the supporters have gauged what we are trying to achieve and will always support honest endeavour, even when the team is getting beaten, rather than watching a humiliation, as we have all witnessed previously. Against the very top teams, we have done well this season. There are not many years we can say we have beaten Saints , Wigan, Warrington & Leeds, and while we were beaten by a better side on Saturday, they never gave up, which is all we ask. If we can make three or four good off season signings, Smith can take us up the table and to where we think we should be. I appreciate we are balancing the books, after Covid wiped out our income and nearly did for us, but according to AP, if the crowds stay healthy, it shouldn't be long before we balance things out, which is an achievement in itself, considering the parlous state that some other clubs are in, after the pandemic. If they didn't have rich, benevolent owners, they would struggle to remain solvent, given that media incomes are reducing and not many clubs attract the following we do.
