| Play offs gone then. Maybe a good thing, who wants to get hammered at Huddersfield or Catalans.
Lets hope we can finish the seaosn on a positive (for a change) with a couple of wins.

| I mean its a good effort I suppose.
Letting Brierley look like a world beater probably shows where we are.

| Need to avoid defeat on Sunday otherwise it would mean that every team has beaten us this season in Super League.

| 9 first teamers out, not too bad given pre match odds but another L in a long and dismal run in so far.

| Well that all but confirms what we already knew, another season without play off rugby for us. This one was frustrating for another reason, in which it was a game we probably should have won.
Looking back on our tactics over the last 6 weeks or so and I can’t help but find them a bit baffling. It’s a busted side low on confidence and frail in defence, yet we seem to have a habit of kicking on the 2nd/3rd tackle when near the oppositions line. A very high risk high reward play which has proven to bite us on the backside tonight. Kicking on the 3rd, giving away a 7 tackle set and then conceding. All whilst we was seeming to get on the front foot. We didn’t get back in their half till we scored about 15 mins later. This is where we have to be smarter. I’d forgive it if it was youngsters, but we’re playing with experience halves who should be know or at least be executing better.
Last game I could make this season, not much to shout about, but will be there for 2023 no questions asked.

| Only seen the first try of the game so far (Watkins) and Wynne needs to stop tackling around the shoulders.
He has let a few tries in lately by tackling like that when a legs tackle would have stopped them.

Do you ever praise anyone?
Regardless of the situation we are in, the kid has been superb this season and fully deserves player of the year if he gets it.
It’s just a pity quite a few others don’t have his attitude, desire and commitment to playing for the badge.
We might not be sat in 9th if so.

Maybe why we've brought in Sutcliffe and Wynne has only been given a 1 year extension?

| Not so sure on Wynne myself. He’s definitely got something especially in attack but he admitted himself that was told his attitude and commitment needed to better.
Make or break for him next season IMO

He can do it. I’m sure of that. He has the skills.
Sure it was him did a great legs tackle on Jai Field at home to Wigan. A Yeamo special
But in tries by Hurrell and last night by Watkins he is grasping at their shoulders which is never going to be an effective tackle on those guys?
It is this sort of split second decision making players need to improve.
