But I can’t see Hudds winning more than 7 of their remaining 10 and while Catalans might grow in confidence now, even tonight they were scratchy against a below par Hull. I’m not sure we and Widnes have the power and quality to get a meaningful number of wins against the better teams. Hopefully Rovers will start proving me wrong tomorrow, but Widnes building up a decent lead over 40 minutes yesterday and then losing it in 5 was a the sort of thing we’ve grown used to on those occasions we raise our game to avoid a humping vs Wigan et al.
