| Quote: Mrs Barista "Completely agree. We can argue about Bateman in the centres, or whether Watts might shade Hill, or Shaul v Ratchford, but it's in the roundings IMO. Across any 17 we can put together we haven't the collective physicality, skill and/or resilience to match the best.'"
And there's no shame in that - Australia have huge structural advantages over us.

| I see Danny Brough has been kicked out of the Scottish WC squad for misconduct - no surprises there, I guess.

| So from the HDM today it seems that Watts was close enough to getting in the England squad to get a call from Betts to tell him he was close, but not as good as Heighington....!

Bet you didn't switch off the NZ v Tonga game if you were up to watch it!

| Premier Sport missed the best game so far in the Tournament there, and did it for a football game that three men and a dog would be watching! So much for every game in the world cup live!

And they're not very popular for doing it either.

| We've been in Perth for a few days now and there is little or no sign that there is an International game of RL tomorrow.
In 2008 the RLWC received massive exposure with each host city putting a great show on. It would seem the NRL aren't perfect and moving games to none RL areas doesn't work here like it doesn't work back home.
Great city though.
