| I got tickets, depends if you are fussy where you sit ?
Got confused over the double header, there are conflicting 'seating plans' which have the stadium reversed ! Finally got tickets in the Hull section - hopefully on the 25 - these re Class 2 tickets. Class 1 are more expensive and around half way line - matter of choice really.
Just seems a long way to go to risk poor seats ?

Yep fair point, not going to bother with the double header though, got some Aus mates joining us and given the 83k capacity they'll be no problem getting in. I'll get Hull end tickets for the Wollongong game and some for the Melbourne vs Rhino's game.

A great tour with some unbelievable memories but only one minor issue...All beware over zealous security staff in the 'pubs'. Not sure they are used to the boisterous nature of English RL fans and there where consequently one or two unpleasant situations where elderly (50's) fans where ejected with inappropriate force for apparently doing very little. To add salt to the wound on each occasion these fans where arrested once they had been dispatched to the street.
The beer is ridiculously expensive and weak !!'"
They'll chuffing poop themselves when the barmy army get going then!!!

I'll be disappointed if there isn't a bit of a scrap in Wollongong.

I really hope not, we have a bad enough rep as it is!

| One thing I noticed when in Australia last time. No matter how old you are, you will be asked to show ID to get into bars. I was 35 last time I went and thought it was hilarious.

Looked ideal & really cheap but it seems some tourist boards are tour 'partners' & decided which hotels were available - SAGE not amongst them. Either that or it was block booked by Wigan ??
Gave up on Woolongong - now In Sydney for 12 days, currently no sign of the club assisting with transfers so will probably also hire a car for the day, not sure about the public transport back for the evening kick off ?'"
sorry missed this post earlier. there are trains back to sydney on the night but one leaves at 9.53 then there is a gap of an hour or so, but yes you can get there and back on the train. the train station looks to be around 10 minutes walk from the ground

| Tickets bought for both the Hull games and also the Rhino's game. Looks like tickets selling very well for the Win Stadium match. 33 days till Rob and I fly out.

| Amazing effort if it's around that many, wonder how many Wigan and Leeds are taking given their lack lustre support for the last two CC semi finals. I always think with the success they've both enjoyed, there is no way Hull or even KR would be so poorly represented.
I think the club should offer anyone who can produce airline tickets or something to prove you're going to Australia a discounted NSW tour training top or polo shirt(I know we get discount with season passes).
Four weeks on Tuesday, can't wait, although the budgie smugglers might have to!

Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| .... or maybe AP will assure all fans that haven't got tickets that they won't pull a stunt like this ever again.
footnote:
Sydney swelters on hottest day since 1939 as mercury hits 47.3C

| Hello ladies and gents! Looking forward to meeting some of u in February and thought you may be interested to know that today, Sydney recorded a record temperature of 47.3C.
You’d better pack your factor 4.
Best of luck for the season and safe trip to you!!
