The term "bully" gets thrown around without consideration to what it actually means. Is Radford really a bully by definition? And if he isn't, why do people keep saying he is? And if he is, where are these examples?

It's a minefield these days as to what actually IS bullying. Things like singling out, undermining someone are all classed as bullying from child at school to adult in work place.. It's a sorry state of affairs that everything is the way it is but that is the way it's looked at as I've had teacher at daughters school explain it and a few "cases" of it in my workplace. We all have an opinion of what we see as bullying (and imo some of reasons these days are borderline embarrassing) but it's the way the rules work now as far as I know.

But a lot of what you've just said their isn't actually bullying. Someone sees a one-off incident and cries "bully". A bully or bullying is persistent, and if anyone honestly thinks that Radford would be where he is today if he bullied players then they're either ignorant or naïve.

Too many people think that telling someone to do their job in a way they don't like is bullying. Criticising performance isn't bullying if it's justified. Singling out people if it's persistent and unjustified, but I don't think anyone really thinks that's happened.

I don't have a "position" on radford being a bully or not as I have no direct evidence either way. Some of his criticism of players in the media has been poor IMO and it does beg the question of how individuals are handled in private if that's how they're dealt with in public

My view is that open criticism of an individual in the media could be be classed as bullying dependent upon the severity and if it was allied to other things. Maybe it would fall more easily into other areas of employment law though. Are you an employment law specialist?

I'm not saying I think it is bullying imo, I'm only going of what I've been told from people who work in educating and managers in a workplace as to what they say what is considered bullying. Undermining and singling out, if the person it is aimed at believes it is then it has to be looked into. I'm not saying anyone is saying it is including shaul.
