| Yes, I was very impressed with the big lads up front, constantly making big yards. It made things a lot easier for the backs who showed lots of flair.

Impressed with the u16 considering most were 15s against KRs team full of 16s. Stand out for me was prop
Jack Brown, Bobby Downs had a lively game at 7. Rovers number one looks like he has a good pedigree though

| Absolutely no faith with the current coaching set up to develop these players to their full potential.
Players like Lineham, Houghton and the young props haven't kicked on or have got worst under the current regime.

Bit disappointing as we led at half time, but think Lancaster and Logan were out? Could be wrong.

| Lancasters out for a while with hamstring, Logan had concussion in last game plus missing Turgit, Abdul and Dean.
A fairly young side with 7 first year players
Hull F.C.: 1 Jack Sanderson, 2 Josh Poskitt, 3 Connor Bower, 4 Callum Smith, 5 Ryan Adamson, 6 Harry Tyson – Wilson, 7 Josh Wood (Captain), 8 Masimbaashe Matongo, 9 Brad Harrison, 10 Charlie Johnson, 11 Ash Bastiman, 12 Jack Downs, 13 Brad Fash, 14 Ross Osborne, 15 Joel Marquez – Laynez, 16 Zeus Silk, 17 Jez Litten.
Tries: Masimbaashe Matongo (4), Brad Fash (10), Harry Tyson – Wilson (37), Ross Osborne (40).
Goals: Harry Tyson – Wilson 4 / 4.
Still having a good season and will be a tough test this week with the derby game, 2:30 at YPI on Saturday

| Considering we set so much store in these kids coming through it's disappointing that there's no bio of the Academy players on the FC website. In fact there's very little info at all. It would be interesting to see more about where the players started their career , what position , how old they are , how they are developing etc etc. Just glanced at Wire's site and they have the full squads for the 19's and 16's listed with pictures etc. With more info we could at least then get some comparison with their peers at other clubs rather than having to just read that into a scoreline , which could , as alluded to , be skewed because one team has an average age much younger/older than another in any given game. In fact just had a look at a few more sites and most have pretty comprehensive coverage of their academy players. Widnes and Salford don't.

I know I'm probably talking rubbish, but there are strict rules about what can and what can't be published about under 18 minors.
Clearly it happens at lots of other clubs, but maybe that's because permission has been granted by all involved, or maybe they're just getting away with it.
