Not sure what your point is here. Horne's brother as you describe him made great improvements after moving to Hudds. This year had been more consistent than any of your second row. Even the fabled Ellis. Kirk Netherton is not a brother but a cousin.

G Horne more consistent than Ellis, are you having a laugh, Ellis has been excellent in ever game this season, Horne is a solid SL player, who now and again has a great game, exactly the same as he was at Hull, thats why Hudds and Hull were happy to release him, not a bad squad player, but we have young cheaper player like Hadley who do as good or a better job than him.

With the news that Arundel will be here next year I'm wondering if they've failed to secure any of their centre targets.

Arundel won't be here, we will find a way of getting rid of him.

He's not returning by Hull's choice. The HDM says Hull could be "stuck with a player who is not in their plans". Arundel doesn't sound too sure as he told the Bradford T&A "At this moment in time I think I'm going back to Hull".

The best hope is that someone else comes in for him although as one of our top earners (according to the Mail) he'd presumably have to accept a pay cut to move elsewhere.

It's a shame he's on a silly contract. He's been stitched up a bit although I'm sure he's not complaining about the financial side of it.

If we really don't rate him then I can see us paying his wages to play somewhere else. Cue discussion about the cap implications of that. Go.

It's not just McRae to thank though , AP also has to take a share of the blame for sanctioning the deals.

We are now left with a centre that is not wanted by the coach so his position at the club is pretty untenable. The only way i can see Arundel leaving is if he is paid off or sent back out on loan

Poor old Arundel has become a real pariah it seems. Fair enough our current coach doesn't want/like him but it's difficult to see what the player has done wrong. He was given little game time pre season unless he was playing with the kids , played pretty well at Saints and got dropped. A pattern that then followed for the handful of games he played. He got a game against Widnes at home and was one of the few to lose his place after that debacle. He was on the wing against Salford in the cup , scored a couple of tries and seemed to be blamed for the defeat once again getting dropped. He's not had the chance to show whether he can do it or not over the last few seasons with injuries and limited opportunity and clearly his confidence will have been affected. I'm not by any means saying he's an answer to anything but I don't see either that any other centre that's played this year has really done any better than him.

Bring in a top quality coach and watch Arundel flourish kids got talent but like most of our players has no chance of showing it or progressing under Radford. Although I agree it does sound he is on a lot of cash
