It's horses for courses is it not. Miller doesn't fit, a bit like Brendan Rodgers coming in at Anfield and moving Shelvey on without kicking a ball (a youngster who tends to blow very hot or cold).

I have no problem with him not being the best tackler in the world but I do have a problem with him in regards to he's not a very good player. I agree that we are missing Azza at 9 though - its another fine mess really isn't it.

You know what, i actually back Pearson, it appears his contract management is very good, something hes very sharp on. We have pulled some good deals since he's been about in the releasing of players and bringing in replacements mid term.

What if, for example, Millers contract was back loaded. Paid say £40k pa for first 2/3 years then in the last year £150k. Is AP trying to ship out before the big bucks are due?

For me Miller didn't do anything wrong last year. Yeah, he didn't set the world alight with his performances but we should take into consideration that he joined us mid-season and needed time to settle. I also don't think it helped that he had to play alongside Holdsworth who was not a good player for us IMO.

I personally would like to see Rankin and Miller play in the halves at some point to see what they can do together. Azza isn't a halfback and should play again at hooker where he excels at. Horne and Rankin are too similar in style so I don't think that combination works. Rankin and Miller or Horne and Miller is what we need to try.

Miller is a 21 year old Australian rep halfback. Other than his kicking game, he's much better than Brough was at the same age, and with the right environment and coaching - he could become the best half in Super League.

I have no doubts that the reason Miller isn't playing has nothing to do with ability.

As for Heremaia playing in the halves - he's a very good halfback, he just happens to be even better at hooker.

I've already said why he isn't getting a game..because 17 year olds are running over the top of him, & he's not as good as HTW & he's 17 & not ready for SL..I've said I want him to play & prove me wrong there's nothing I would like better if its to help our team compete...but realistically he's poor & another regrettable Shite pot signing..make of it what you want..or pop to training & have a look yourself...or if you know anyone at the club that's involved with training ask them?

Don't agree with you saying Azza is a very good halfback. If he was very good, we wouldn't be having the issue with him at 7.
Although he is a very good hooker no doubting that.

Same here, great hooker, Ok at halfback, can fill in for a game or two but not a long term solution.

I agree. I thought that he actually showed steady improvement almost every game (at least up until the CC Final, at which point our season started to fall apart everywhere). He was certainly nowhere near as bad as the character/player assassination that is now going on suggests.

This isnt true, I know the young kids rate him very highly, and are probably as confused as the rest of us to why he isnt getting a game, personnaly think its down to salary cap, but who knows

It's not up to the owner to tell the coach who to play. Your blind defence of everything Radford does is one thing, but the underlined sentence makes you look immature and petty.
