Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?: |
|
| All the press reports suggest the end of the Premiership season (10th May).

He is signed from the end of the rugby union season, unless hull can negotiate an early release, which I would imagine is quite feasible if he isn't getting played !

Can't see any way either of these 2 will go backwards or stagnate. shaul has had a promising start but has a lot of flaws in his game to iron out.'"
He and Lineham only have to produce what they did this season as their form was superb, only lack of experience stopped making the national squad. That's why I mentioned they may go backwards a touch as they was that good last season. Your right about Shaul, same as us with Eden.

| Massively underwhelmed, he'll be just shy of 30 come May,(he's has severe ligament damage in the past too) if we are paying money for a winger of his level we're fooking stupid...would have wanted him for a year plus option on yr 2/3
His actual try scoring record isn't great, 25 tries in 80odd appearances, that's almost half what Banahan has scored on the other side, works out 8 tries a season
I really, really hope we didn't tell Briscoe that we couldn't take him back after his NRL offer fell through due to the "spent the money elsewhere" because that would just make us a laughing stock...

Think the fact they are both injured actually stopped them more than experience to be honest.

He's played 4 games this season so far, and if we are going to pay for his early release then why the hell didn't we have the money for Briscoe..

Any fees we pay for him to be released wont count on any cap..
And personally think if we don't pay for an early release so he can get a preseason with us will be a massive mistake

We did have the money for Briscoe - he did not want it . By the way why are you discussing with Trolls from across the City its not their problem.

You don't really believe that, do you?
As with Manu, he wanted to leave.

I've no idea, niether does anybody I guess but it would be the kind of stupid dumb-ass thing our club would do, all I know is that Biggs for Briscoe is a step down in quality.
Signing him means Crookes is pretty much gone and we still have no place for either McDonnell or Shaul

| You moaning feckers
The quality of SL all round will be worse next year, end of. Are Wigan trading up to replace Tomkins, Richards etc? This is a decent signing in the context of an impoverished transfer market and the fact 3 of our back 5 are young and homegrown.
The negativity around every single aspect of what the club does on here is hilarious. Half comes from Rovers trolls and Rovers trolls masquerading as FC fans, much of the rest from people withholding financial support from the club but still bitching about signings. In what sense is this "supporting" the club?
