But that's the sticking point. You haven't given us [iany[/i information of worth. Just a load of hints of bad news with no substance. Come back tomorrow and see if you feel like telling us more.

Look you are taking this all to personal. You started out with a comment that some ask you to explain. You went around the houses to do this and then it would appear that you weren't with the Healy's (or one of them) but with a friend who was with one (which one by the way?). People just appreciate the information if it's available, that's all. It's up to them if they decide to believe it or not. Don't take the questions or comments to heart.

Like I said I met a friend for a drink who was with one of the Healey's, and like anybody would I was at him like a dog with a bone

| monk is generally on the money with his info. Don't know where he gets it from but he's usually right.
As for pearson, I reckon he thought he'd buy Hull for a song, get rid of the unpopular coach, tinker a bit behind the scenes and suddenly have a side capable of winning the title with crowds of 15k+. If that didn't work out, he could always use his bargaining power with the user agreement to get some wedge out of allam when the council handed over the stadium for his major development plans.
As it's turned out, the hole the club were in was much, much deeper than he could have imagined. The youth set up had been all but left swinging in the wind, what talent he did have in there was whisked away due to incompetence and subterfuge by ex employees. The RFL failed to back him so he's now had a public spat with them. The club's name has been dragged through the mud due to a drugs scandal that seems like it included most of the coaching and playing staff and the better players in the squad seem to want out.
So how does he get out? Can't see anyone coming over the hill with a chunk of cash to pay him off so maybe a merger is on the cards?

Thanks. Like I said I would not spread malicious rumours about the club. I pray to god what I was told tonight is not true. I can't see the club going backwards now. Everything seems to be in place

I doubt Pearson is daft enough to think he could turn us in to a title winning side with 15K crowds overnight. Yes the drugs scandal and lack of youth development have been a shock, but it was clear to anyone that the squad needed a lot of work and time to become a top side.
and on the crowd front, we could have the best side in the world playing State Of Origin standard rugby, and I still don't think we be getting crowds like we did around 2007, purely and simply because we are in a double dip recession and some people simply can't afford it, no matter how good the rugby is on the field.
I also disagree that the 'top players' want out, I'd class Manu as a top player, but he is now 32...the rest who are leaving or rumoured to be leaving are not top players.

The club appear to have been realistic about achieving a winning side and claim it will be in the next couple of years, also G.Ellis is one of the best players in the world and he wants in, plus our recruitment is still not finished for next season. Also worth noting Manu had a change of heart and actually wanted to stay at FC.

Briscoe is a top player, but by all accounts he wants to leave to play in the better standard NRL, not because he wants to get away from HullFC
Tickle is an average/good SL player, I don't consider him irreplaceable.

I think he is a good player, and I personally would keep him at the club. However I don't think he is a pivital player that we couldn't replace with another 2nd rower. We have already brought in Ellis who is a better 2nd rower for example.
